Ciao, Bakers!

Welcome to my world of micro-baking! I’ve always had a sweet tooth (better yet, sweet teeth), so making desserts was one of my favorite things to do. The problem is that I never had enough people around to eat them! I grew up in a small family so a three-layer cake lasted forever, and I wouldn’t be able to bake again for quite some time until we finished the whole thing. Nowadays, I’m only cooking for my fiancé and me, which means big desserts still don’t make sense. But I love to bake! What is a girl to do?!

That’s where micro-baking comes in. I’ve decided to try to cut down recipes so that I am able to bake more often while eating less of each item. Less sweets equals a healthier self, and baking more often equals a happier chef. Not a bad arrangement, right? This way, we can sample different recipes throughout the week and won’t feel as guilty for eating dessert frequently (that’s my hope, at least). Please take this journey with me and have a good time in the kitchen! After all, food is all about fun: the fun of creating and the fun of eating.

Most of the time, I intend to post sweet recipes, but I will still share my favorite savory dishes, which may come in larger portions with freezer-friendly capabilities. I hope you will take the time to indulge in your decadent side and enjoy the sweet treats that make the days better, but all in moderation, of course :)

I love your blog idea, please keep going!
I also enjoy baking and almost never do it as well… I never took the effort to remesure the whole thing, it’s awsome that you want to share that!
You certainly have public, at least from Brazil :)
